Do you struggle with addiction?
There are many reasons that drive what we do. When it comes to addiction, at the heart of it, there is something that compels you to “use” even though a part of you doesn’t want to. Over time, this compulsion starts to dominate and gets in the way of the life you want to live.
Perhaps you’ve tried to talk yourself out of it and you’ve probably heard plenty of comments from your loved ones. Maybe you’ve even tried to quit on your own.
Yet things don’t quite change and sometimes getting stuck takes a toll on your relationships, your work and your quality of life.
I can help.
I only use scientifically supported and evidenced based psychological treatments for your specific addiction or problematic use. Simply put, my treatment is one-on-one therapy, mental training and support towards managing your addictions. In our counselling sessions, you will learn and understand how a mind struggling with addiction works, practical recovery skills you can use and long term strategies to rewire your thinking patterns.
For the curious, my treatment approach is based in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing specific to your issue.
